Hi! I’m Lisa Kubja, a freelance digital artist and illustrator always on the lookout for new and exciting opportunities (honestly I’ve found this generic phrase on the internet and liked it a lot). I’ve always felt a bit awkward using my Estonian surname cause it sounded weird to everyone around me but I’m finally growing into it.

I was born and lived 99% of my life in Moscow, Russia but now I am what they call a digital nomad residing in Armenia and having no idea where I’m going to live in a year or two. Traveling had never been my dream but leaving the notorious comfort zone made me push my inner boundaries like I probably never would otherwise. Which is at the end of the day a good thing.

Once I started working on this site my doubts about it being unnecessary got shattered. It actually felt like the perfect time to do so because over the years my portfolio has gotten pretty extensive and varied, and I had no convenient ways to display the most relevant sides of my professional history to my potential clients.

I've been drawing my whole life and I've been a professional digital artist for more than 5 years. And I guess I fully overcame the big bad impostor syndrome only about a couple of years ago. Having medieval history education background, I love when artworks have some historical style references or themes to them. Although first impression in art is extremely important, I love it when it offers you more than just that and lets you admire how thought through everything in this or that piece is - both visually and semantically.

If you want to get to know me better go visit the so-called workshop (although it’s not really finished, more like it is a bare minimum of what I would want from it ideally).

Thanks for dropping by!

About ✨the shop✨

Below is all the main info I expect you might want to know, but you can reach out to me if you have any other questions!

  • I’ve been wanting to be able to somehow sell my own prints for as long as I’ve been considering myself kind of like an artist. One of the first platforms I tried using for that sometime back in early 2010s was Society6, and although my designs were crappy, they kept bringing me a spare literal couple of dollars from time to time which made me jump and giggle with excitement.

Later, sometime in late 2010s, I dabbled in creating sticker sets and printing them out in various Moscow and St. Petersburg printing houses to sell online and at physical conventions. But I didn't like depending on the printing houses, so by the end of 2022 I finally set up a simple home printing studio to make stickers myself. A period of trial and error lay ahead but I didn't really get to get things going smoothly having to leave my home county because of the Russo-Ukrainian war.

So I had to think of how I could launch a shop of my own in the new life circumstances.

  • As for this shop, I’m pretty happy and confident with how it looks and works now. It doesn’t really bring any significant income at this point (hope I won’t forget to update this text if things change) but I see it as some sort of a small legacy of mine as well as an investment, meaning that at some point I’ll have created a really pretty collection of products which expresses my specific aesthetic and speaks to people who share with me a similar aesthetic, ideas or attitudes. If someone finds my products and thinks to themselves that that’s exactly what they wanted to have that means I did a good job!

  • My shop offers a bunch of products created via print-on-demand drop shippers. I choose one of them for each product depending on what is possible in the case with what service provider. I don’t have a warehouse with my stuff or anything: when someone places an order, it gets produced especially for the client. Shipping rates depend on which one of a number of contractors produces this type of product and where they do that (some have several locations around the world). So, I don’t physically manipulate the products themselves, everything is delegated, but I track and control every order online on every step of the way so don’t worry.

  • Every time I design a new product I order samples for myself to make sure I’m happy with the quality, and only then products become available at the store.

  • Shipping is sadly not free. Shipping costs depend on the types and quantity of products you’re ordering and obviously on the destination country. Theoretically I can set up any shipping rates I want at the store, and for example partly “hide” the real shipping costs inside the products’ prices, but that would make prices less fair for those who would have to pay less for shipping based on their destination only. So all the shipping costs you get here are straight up what they are.

Delivery

  • Usually, it takes 3–7 days to fulfill an order, after which it’s shipped out. The shipping time depends on your location, but can be estimated as follows:

    ● USA: 3–4 business days

    ● Europe: 6–8 business days

    ● Australia: 2–14 business days

    ● Japan: 4–8 business days

    ● International: 10–20 business days

  • An additional customs and tax fee can occur on international orders. This fee is not in our control and is assessed by your local customs office. Customs policies vary widely for every country so please check with your local customs office directly to see if they apply duties and taxes to your purchases.

  • Before getting in touch with us, please help us out by doing the following:

    ● Check your shipping confirmation email for any mistakes in the delivery address

    ● Ask your local post office if they have your package

    ● Stop by your neighbors in case the courier left the package with them

If the shipping address was correct, and the package wasn't left at the post office or at your neighbor’s, get in touch with me with your order number.

If you did find a mistake in your delivery address, we can send you a replacement order, but shipping will be at your own cost.

Orders

  • You’ll receive a tracking link via email when your order ships out. If you have any questions about your tracking or shipment, drop me a line.

  • I hope this never happens! To help resolve this for you quickly, please email me within a weeks' time with photos of the damaged product, your order number, and any other details you may have about your order. I’ll get back to you with a resolution as soon as possible!

Returns

  • We don’t offer returns and exchanges, but if there’s something wrong with your order, contact me.

  • Refunds are only offered to customers that receive the wrong items or damaged items. If any of these apply, please contact me with photos of wrong/damaged items and we’ll sort that out for you.

  • At this time, we don't offer exchanges. If you’re unsure which size would fit better, check out our sizing charts.

Though rare, it's possible that an item you ordered was mislabelled. If that’s the case, please let me know within a week after receiving your order. Include your order number and photos of the mislabeled item, and you’ll be sent you a new one, or issued a refund!
